Exploder for SketchUp

Exploder is a SketchUp extension for non-destructive exploded views of assemblies. It keeps the assembled model intact, stores exploded state in the model itself, and gives you directional control when the automatic result isn’t quite right.

What you get

  • Global expand / restore — explode the whole assembly and put it back in one click.
  • Preview pane — judge the spread before committing.
  • Per-entity control — override axis, distance, and opacity on the parts that need it.
  • Named views — save and switch between useful exploded states.
  • Scene capture — capture assembled / exploded scenes for documentation.
